Job Description:
A company is looking for a Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing
for a remote position in Illinois.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for
students
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments for students
Train school staff in sign language and educate parents
Required Qualifications:
Active Illinois DHH Licensure
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
Knowledge of child development, particularly for students with
disabilities
Ability to work full or part-time
