SIE is looking for a Safety Manager - Rail/Transit to support various MTA C&D transit construction projects. This position will be responsible for supporting the client in auditing safety on the project.

Responsibilities:Ensuring contractor and subcontractor compliance with contract specifications, APP & SWPs and MTA C&D Policies and Procedures.
Conducting safety audits of projects and generating reports with findings and photos
Reviewing safety plans and submittals
Reviewing incidents and incident reports
Participating in project meetings
Reviewing contractor schedules and payments
Conducting constructability review
Coordination with MTA and other stakeholders

Qualification & Skills: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred
10+ years of experience in safety management for infrastructure projects
Experience with design-build and design-bid-build projects
Experience with MTA C&D (including NYCT, LIRR, MNR), Amtrak, NJ Transit, and PANYNJ
Excellent communication skills and work ethic
MNR Contractor Safety Training
Site Safety Manager Course
OSHA 30 (OSHA 500 desirable)
CSP, CHST or other formal safety certifications preferred
NYCT Track Training

Expected salary range is $72,800 - $156,000 annually. Actual compensation will be dependent on the individual's qualifications, skills, experience, and physical work location.
