Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Database Architect to lead the
design, development, and optimization of databases for IT
modernization efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and maintenance of database architecture across
on-premises and cloud environments
Implement best practices for database security and ensure
compliance with federal regulations
Monitor database performance and support the migration of legacy
databases to cloud platforms
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a
related field (or 8+ years of relevant experience)
5-8 years of experience in database architecture and management
with expertise in relational and NoSQL databases
Extensive experience with cloud database services like Amazon RDS
and Microsoft Azure SQL
Strong knowledge of database performance tuning and
high-availability configurations
Familiarity with data security best practices and compliance with
federal regulations
