Senior Quantitative DeveloperMillennium is a top tier global hedge fund with a strong commitment to leveraging innovations in technology and data science to solve complex problems for the business. We are assembling a strong Quant Technology team to build our next generation trading strategy.Responsibilities:We are looking for a self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented person to join our team. The candidate will play a significant part in enhancing and maintaining our current systematic investment framework, including:

• Data Engineering: building and maintaining data pipelines
• Machine Learning: building and enhancing machine learning frameworkRequirements:
• STEM background
• High Level (production level) Coding experience in Python and SQL
• Familiar with version control (GitHub)
• Experience in cloud development (AWS EC2, Batch, S3, and CloudWatch)
• Experience with schedulers (Airflow)
• Unix experience
• Best practices methodology regarding how to code, test, and deploy changes.
• Experience in quantitative development
• Experience with data-pipeline architecturePreferred Qualifications:
• Bachelors, Masters or PhD in STEM
• Experience in Asset Management preferably in Equities
• Knowledge of equitiesLocation:
• Toronto or NYCompensation:The estimated base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual's experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
